——Wonder’s Invitation to the Sino-Corrugated 2017
The Valentine's Day is not a festival only for lovers. “Feeling” is not a word that only makes sense between lovers. Besides love, there are also feelings of appreciation and companion. Today, I’d like to introduce a company with boundless love in the corrugated case industry——Shenzhen Wonder Printing System Co., Ltd. You’re definitely familiar with plateless digital printing. This process is mainly used in small factories, for completing small, odd and missed orders. Originally, Wonder produced plateless printers only to provide a solution for completing such orders. In recent years, in the wake of rapid development of e-commerce, the demand for packing has increased exponentially in express service, and there have been more and more small and individualized orders. To meet the trend, some large factories have introduced equipment to take more individualized orders. However, due to low speed and ineffectiveness in volume production, plateless digital printers are unpopular with large factories.
In such context, Wonder continuously conducted in-depth R & D to realize plateless high-speed printing and volume production, which had been pursued in the industry for years. Upon years of efforts, in 2014, the company grandly launched WD200-24A/32A plateless, environment-friendly, high-speed corrugated board digital printer. Its maximum delivery speed is as high as 0.9m/s, comparable to that of traditional chain conveyor. Once launched, the revolutionary product drew high attention of domestic and overseas customers.

Within the 5-6 years, Wonder successfully developed from small-lot production (output: 1,000 cases per 10 hours) to volume production (output: >20,000 cases per 10 hours).
When attention is paid to printing speed, Wonder also takes great pains to help customers control costs. During the printer R & D, the company considered affordability for both buying and use. As said by Wonder’s sales director Mr. Luo Sanliang, the company owns a 16-years-old ink factory that has a solid base and outstanding R & D capability. The factory located in Dongguan began to work hard to develop ink 6 years ago. While the printer development was completed in only 2 years, the ink development consumed 2.5 years. Attributed to the staff’s efforts, Wonder has developed environment-friendly, odorless, low-cost inks that bring out better colors than traditional offset presses. These inks are accepted and favored by customers, and demonstrate the “affordability for both buying and use”.
In addition to the outstanding performance in plateless printer manufacturing, Wonder has developed UV printers, which print in more diverse colors and higher fidelity, for color-selective customers. By report, the company has made a new breakthrough in developing high-speed digital color printers recently. The development of the new UV printer was commenced in 2015, and the test has been passed. It will grandly debut at the Sino-Corrugated 2017.
On the whole, the technology of plateless printing has always developed weakly because brands of plateless printer, especially brands of water-based ink, are fewer in the world. Wonder is highly aware of the significance of the undertakings, and keeps enthusiastic about plateless printing. Over the 16 years, the enthusiasm has supported the company in continuously moving forward, and impelled it to realize medium-volume printing. Now, high-volume printing is close at hand.

Over the years, from the perspective of technology, Wonder has always been on the way of forward movement. This is backed by the staff’s devotion and efforts. The outstanding performance in technological innovation is attributed to an R & D team made up of only 6-7 members. As of its founding, there has never been separation of core technical talent. The core technical talents’ loyalty is the source of the technical breakthroughs made by the company. In turn, the company acts as backup force for the staff. Wonder executes an excellent staff training system. With attention paid to the staff’s career development, trainings are regularly conducted to improve their competence. Furthermore, the system of employee stock ownership prevails in the company, which allows an employee to hold stocks and share out bonus. All these lay a foundation for steady work, family happiness and healthy life.
